Pendeta Purwandi S.Th, M.A.C.E, M.Th, dalam Kotbahnya berharap dalam peringatan Natal tahun 2024 ini setiap jemaat semakin bertumbuh di dalam iman, pengenalan yang benar akan Tuhan serta mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Seperti apa yang di lakukan oleh para Gembala.
Dimana kata dia, setelah menerima berita nata natal, berita sukacita, berita Injil, langsung pergi menyampaikan berita sukacita itu kepada semua orang, semua bangsa tanpa melihat suku, budaya dan agama.
“Jadi injil harus diberitakan terutama, tentang damai itu sendiri. Sebab damai itulah yang akan membawa manusia lebih dekat lagi akan pengenalannya kepada Tuhan. Setiap umat manusia pasti memerlukan kedamaian itu, siapapun orang itu” ujarnya.
Karena itu, ia berharap perayaan Natal dengan Tema” Marilah sekarang kita pergi ke Betlehem” dan Sub tema” Dengan semangat natal kita membangun Murid Kristus yang berakar dalam iman” tahun 2024 untuk kita benar benar mempersiapkan diri memasuki tahun 2025.
“Supaya ada Damai diantara jemaat, masyarakat dan secara umum di tanah Papua. Inilah yang menjadi harapan kami sebagai Gembala Gereja Kristen Kalam Kudus (GKKD) Pos Pelayanan Doyo Baru pada perayaan ibadah Natal tahun ini,” pungkasnya. (Imel)
