Kabupaten Jayapura,Jelajahpapua.com – Menjelang masa tenang Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) serentak pada 24 – 26 November 2024, Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Jayapura, Semuel Siriwa, ajak masyarakat Bumi Khenambay Umbay agar terus menjaga suasana tetap kondusif.

“Kami mengimbau seluruh masyarakat, untuk terus bersama-sama menjaga suasana keamanan tetap kondusif dan juga mari kita mensukseskan Pilkada di daerah ini,” kata Semuel Siriwa, Senin, 25/11/2024 di Gudang Logistik KPU Kabupaten Jayapura.

“Mari kita bersama-sama jaga suasana kondusif selama masa tenang Pilkada di Kabupaten Jayapura. Kita buktikan Kabupaten Jayapura adalah masyarakatnya santun dan berbudaya,” ucapnya menambahkan.

Pj Bupati Jayapura juga meminta kepada masyarakat agar tidak melakukan peredaran minuman beralkohol (Minol) di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Jayapura.

“Pertama, itu kita ada larangan untuk Miras (minuman keras). Sudah ada edaran Bupati Jayapura, dan itu kita minta sampai tanggal 28 November 2024 nanti. Jadi, mulai hari ini hingga 28 November mendatang itu tidak boleh ada peredaran minuman alkohol (Minol), juga tidak ada yang mengonsumsi Miras maupun penjualan di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Jayapura, termasuk Miras ini tidak boleh ada yang masuk ke daerah ini, karena kita sudah buat edaran larangannya,” pinta Orang Nomor Satu di Bumi Khenambay Umbay ini dengan tegas.

Selain itu, Pj Bupati Siriwa juga mengingatkan pentingnya berpartisipasi dalam Pilkada serentak yang akan digelar pada 27 November 2024 nanti. Masyarakat diharapkan agar menghindari sikap golput (golongan putih). Karena menurutnya, satu suara dari masyarakat sangat menentukan arah Kabupaten Jayapura ke depan.

“Kita semua yang sudah memilih atau mempunyai hak pilih agar datang ke TPS (Tempat Pemungutan Suara) pada hari H-nya nanti, untuk memberikan suara kita. Baik itu, untuk pemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Papua maupun pemilihan bupati dan wakil bupati Jayapura. Kita berharap dengan pemberian suara kita itu betul-betul akan memberikan manfaat bagi pembangunan di Kabupaten Jayapura,” pesannya.

“Pilkada serentak tahun ini, diharapkan akan menjadi momentum penting bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Jayapura untuk memilih pemimpin terbaik yang mampu membawa perubahan positif bagi daerah,” ujar Bupati Jayapura Siriwa menambahkan.
Sementara itu, Bupati Siriwa juga memberikan arahan kepada TNI dan Polri untuk menjaga keamanan selama proses Pilkada Serentak tahun 2024 di Kabupaten Jayapura. Ada pun untuk Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) agar tetap menjaga netralitasnya.

“Stabilitas dan netralitas adalah kunci suksesnya pelaksanaan Pilkada kali ini. Semua pihak diharapkan dapat bekerja sama, untuk mewujudkan pemilihan umum yang damai dan demokratis,” pungkasnya. (Imel)
