JAYAPURA, Jelajahpapua.com – KPU Provinsi Papua menetapkan Matius Fakhiri dan Aryoko Rumaropen (Mari-Yo) sebagai pasangan calon Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua yang akan memperebutkan kursi 01 dan 02 Papua pada tanggal 27 November dalam pemilihan serentak kepala daerah. Pasangan Mari-Yo yang diusung partai Golkar, PAN, Demokrat, PSI, PPP, Garuda, Gerindra, Hanura, Perindo, PBB, PKS, Nasdem, Buruh, Gelora dan PKB membawa visi besar mewujudkan Papua Cerah atau Papua Cerdas, Sejahtera dan Harmoni.
Juru Bicara Pasangan Mari-Yo, Steve Mara mengatakan gambaran jangka panjang yang diambil Mari-Yo memiliki arti yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat Papua, pasalnya masyarakat Papua saat ini membutuhkan pemimpin yang dapat membawa perubahan Papua menjadi lebih cerah.
Sejalan dengan visi tersebut, Matius Fakhiri dan Aryoko Rumaropen memiliki rekam jejak yang baik dalam mewujudkan Papua Cerah, seperti selama menjabat sebagai Kapolda Papua, Matius Fakhiri telah melakukan banyak kebijkan afrimasi untuk mendorong masyarakat Papua menjadi Polisi.
“Dengan catatan kerja baik yang dilakukan oleh Matius Fakhiri, ribuan anak muda Papua semenjak 2021 sampai dengan 2024 sudah mendapatkan pekerjaan tetap sebagai Polisi, dan ribuan lainnya akan menyusul hingga tahun 2028 nanti,” kata Steve di Kota Jayapura, Senin (30/9/2024).
Disisi lain, Aryoko Rumaropen adalah mantan Kepala Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Provinsi Papua banyak mengadakan program untuk menyekolahkan anak Papua di tingkat pendidikan tinggi, seperti mengirim anak muda Papua untuk sekolah keluar negeri, maupun didalam negeri.
“Konsep pembangunan sumber daya manusia Papua sudah dimilki oleh kedua pasangan ini, apalagi jika pasangan ini mendapatkan kepercayaan lebih untuk mengelola pemerintahan provinsi Papua, akan ada banyak lagi kebijakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk menolong masyarakat Papua,” ujarnya.
Angka 2 Adalah Pemberian Tuhan
Sementara Calon Gubernur, Matius Fakhiri menyampaikan, dirinya mengucap syukur mendapat nomor urut 2, sebab angkat itu merupakan pemberian Tuhan.
Oleh karena itu, dia mengajak seluruh masyarakat yang menempati Bumi Cemderawasih untuk bergandengan tangan dan berjalan bersama dalam menjaga Papua damai, tertib, tenang, sejahtera, dan harmonis.
“Kepada seluruh masyarakat saya minta lakukan apa yang telah diucapkan, karena melakukan apa yang dikatakan itu sangat susah dan hanya sebagian kecil orang yang dapat melakukannya,” ujarnya.
Fakhiri juga berpesan untuk menjaga kebersamaan dan menjaga toleransi karena perbedaan adalah hal paling baik dan jangan karena perbedaan membuat masyarakat tidak tenang untuk hidup ditanah Papua.
Dia juga menegaskan, umat manusia diberikan keberagaman dan kedamaian di Tanah Papua. Untuk itu, dia mengimbau semua pendukung Mari-Yo menjaga itu.
“Kita berikan demokrasi yang positif dan tidak saling menjatuhkan satu sama lain. Kita jaga keberagaman dan keberaamaan untuk kedamaian di Tanah Papua,” tegasnya.
Fakhiri menyatakan, tentunya pasangan Mari-Yo akan menjadi pemimpin yang amanah yang selalu turun mendengar apa yang disampaikan masyarakat.
“Kami tidak akan banyak berjanji, tapi silahkan lihat apa yang akan kami lakukan sebagai pemimpin,” katanya.**
