Kabupaten Jayapura, Jelajapapua.com – Bakal Calon Gubernur Papua, Matius Fakhiri melakukan ziarah ke makam leluhur para Ondofolo Ifar Besar dan juga makam penginjil Daud Pekade di kampung Ifar Besar, Distrik Sentani, Kabupaten Jayapura, Selasa (17/09/2024) pagi.
Dengan menggunakan Kapal Motor Emfote dan Itaufili, Cagub Matius Fakhiri dan rombongan bergerak dari dermaga Khalkote menuju pulau yang ada di tengah danau Sentani untuk melakukan Ziarah.
Fakhiri didampingi Ondofolo dan Hoselo Ifar Besar serta Bakal Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Jayapura diantaranya Calon Bupati, Jhon Ormuseray, dr.Jhon Manangsang dan Ted Mokay.
Usai melakukan ziarah, Fakhiri dan rombongan menghadiri acara Temu Sapa bersama Masyarakat Adat Tanah Tabi dan Nusantara, yang digelar di Jembatan Kuning, Kampung Ifar Besar.
Dalam acara ini tampak hadir, sesepuh, senior politik asal Bumi Khenambay Umbay, Jhon Ibo mantan Ketua DPR Papua dan Yusuf Wally mantan Bupati Keerom.
Matius Fakhiri yang ditemui wartawan usai acara temu sapa mengatakan, kegiatan ziarah dan mengunjungi situs sejarah injil masuk di tanah Papua khususnya di Kota Jayapura dan Kabupaten Jayapura ini, memang sudah diniatkan sejak awal oleh dirinya, saat pertama kali menyatakan diri untuk maju sebagai Calon Gubernur Provinsi Papua.
Sebelumnya, Matius Fakhiri bersama Aryoko Rumaropen (calon wakil Gubernur) juga telah melakukan ziarah dan mengunjungi situs bersejarah di Kampung Enggros – Tobati Kota Jayapura sepekan lalu.
“Ini masuk daerah wilayah Ifar Besar, saya ditemani Ondofolo Ifar Besar, Willem Yoku untuk kita datang berziarah ke makam Ondofolo dan juga mengunjungi situs bersejarah masuknya injil pertama kali di wilayah Ifar besar yang ada di pulau Ejau,” ujarnya.
“Mudah mudahan Tuhan meridhoi, melapangkan niat saya, melancarkan semua usaha yang telah dilakukan oleh para pendukung saya, untuk saya maju jadi pemimpin di Provinsi Papua, itulah tujuan saya hadir disini,” ucapnya.
Menurut Matius, masyarakat Ifar Besar juga merupakan bagian dari keluarganya.
“Anak saya kawin dengan marga Yoku. Jadi sebenarnya saya kembali ke tengah-tengah keluarga besar saya. Sehingga saya berharap ini jangan jadi buah bibir,” terangnya.
Matius berterima kasih kepada para Ondofolo, Hoselo, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh adat, dan seluruh masyarakat Ifar Besar.
“Terima kasih sudah menerima saya disini,” ucapnya.
Dengan niat yang tulus itu, dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan Temu Sapa. Ini menjadi awal yang baik bagi seorang Matius Fakhiri – Aryoko Rumaropen untuk maju bertarung dalam Pilkada Papua tahun 2024.
“Saya sangat bahagia dan berterima kasih, karena saya diterima oleh keluarga besar. Apalagi di acara temu sapa, hadir juga tokoh tokoh politik senior yang sudah yang punya nama pada masanya, sebagai generasi muda saya harus hormati dan mendengarkan nasehat yang disampaikan oleh mereka,” katanya.
Menutup wawancaranya, Matius Fakhiri kembali mengingatkan kepada para petarung (peserta) dalam Pilkada baik Provinsi hingga Kabupaten Kota agar bertarung secara sehat, tidak menggunakan politik identitas untuk menjatuhkan lawan dan membuat terjadi perpecahan diantara kita semua.
“Semua yang bertaruh ini saya sangat kenal dekat, sehingga saya selalu berpesan untuk tidak menimbulkan persoalan dengan menyebar fitnah, menjelek jelekan kontestan lainnya. Karena tentunya itu dilarang oleh agama manapun,” pesannya.
Matius juga berharap melalui kegiatan temu sapa ini dapat merekatkan tali persaudaraan, untuk satu tujuan pilihan pada 27 November mendatang.
“Saya selalu mengingat bahwa Tuhan sudah tahu siapa yang akan jadi pemimpin pada 27 November besok. Semoga kita menjadi bagian yang dipilih oleh Tuhan tersebut,” harapnya.
Ketua Panitia Acara Temu Sapa, Ramses Wally menegaskan, secara adat memang tidak ada paksaan untuk memilih calon pemimpin Papua. Namun menjatuhkan pilihan kepada pasangan Matius Fakhiri – Aryoko Rumaropen adalah keputusan yang tepat.
“Kami menilai beliau (Matius Fakhiri) adalah pemimpin yang baik, figur tepat pimpin Papua. Bahwa akhirnya ondofolo, hoselo mendukung, itu keputusan kami. Karena secara adat ada dua hal dari kami berbicara yaitu berkat dan kutuk. Kami ambil yang berkat, kami mau berkat kami yaitu Matius Fakhiri dan Aryoko Rumaropen,” tegas Ramses.
Ondofolo Ifar Besar menegaskan, sebagai pemimpin adat ia melihat selama ini, meski kepala daerah terus berganti namun perkembangan pembangunan di Papua masih saja tertinggal dengan daerah lain.
“Oleh sebab itu sebagai Tokoh Adat Papua, kami melihat sosok Matius Fakhiri adalah sosok yang tepat untuk memimpin Papua dengan pengalaman sebelumnya sebagai Kapolda Papua, kami meyakini dapat membuat Papua keluar dari ketertinggalan, dan membawa perubahan yang lebih baik ke depan,” pungkasnya.**
