Kabupaten Jayapura, jelajahpapua.com – Penutupan Festival Danau Sentani (FDS) XIV, Minggu 23/06/2204 di Kawasan Wisata Pantai Klakhote, Distrik Sentani Timur, Kabupaten Jayapura berlangsung meriah dihadiri ribuan pengunjung dan ditutup secara resmi oleh Pj Gubernur Papua, M. Ridwan Rumasukun yang diwakili oleh Pelaksana Tugas Asisten I Bidang Pemerintahan Umum Setda Provinsi Papua Yohanis Walilo didampingi Pj Bupati Jayapura,Triwarno Purnomo.
Yohanis Walilo dalam sambutannya mengatakan dalam rangka pengembangan pariwisata di Provinsi Papua, khusunya untuk Kabupaten Jayapura perlu adanya kerjasama antara Pemrov Papua, dan dukungan dari semua pihak sehingga kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik.
“Tanpa dukungan dari semua pihak, kegiatan ini tidak dapat sesukses ini,”ucapnya.
Pemprov Papua memberikan apresiasi kepada Pemkab Jayapura yang punya inisiatif, dengan event FDS dengan melibatkan masyarakat kabupaten Jayapura.
“Ada beberapa catatan penting yang perlu menjadi perhatian pada FDS XIV, lebih gencar melakukan promosi destinasi wisata yang ada di kabupaten Jayapura.
Untuk panitia FDS berikutnya melibatkan kabupaten/kota tetangga agar berpartisipasi.
” Jadi promosi FDS ini tidak hanya kepada masyarakat kabupaten saja, tetapi kepada masyarakat Papua yang tinggal di kabupaten Jayapura,” ujarnya.
Mampu menarik para wisata dari luar, punya sesuatu yang menarik, sehingga pengunjung dan pariwisatawan lebih banyak datang tertarik dengan kearifan lokal.
Banyak bakat yang dimiliki anak anak yang ada di kabupaten jayapura dan ini menjadi perhatian untuk kita. Jadi buka hanya di Sentani, tetapi mereka bisa maju di tingkat nasional sebagai putra putri terbaik dari Papua,” jelasnya.
Untuk pemkab Jayapura, infrastruktur kawasan Danau Sentani menjadi catatan untuk menjadi perhatian, baik dari pintu masuk sampaikan dengan lokasi FDS, pengembangan tranportasi laut harus di atur baik dan mempu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal.
Walilo berharap kedepan bukan hanya kabupaten Jayapura, tetapi kabupaten/kota tetangga dan Provinsi Papua dapat terlibat untuk pengembangan FDS semakin dikenal hingga nasional,” pungkasnya. (Imel)
