Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk penguatan karakter anggota agar tetap profesional, humanis, dan memiliki integritas tinggi dalam menjalankan tugas pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
Kapolres Jayapura AKBP Umar Nasatekay, S.I.K., menyampaikan bahwa Binroh menjadi bagian penting dalam pembinaan anggota kepolisian. “Sebagai aparat penegak hukum, kita tidak hanya dituntut untuk memiliki keterampilan dan kedisiplinan tinggi, tetapi juga harus memiliki landasan iman yang kuat agar setiap tindakan yang dilakukan selalu berlandaskan nilai-nilai kebaikan dan kemanusiaan,” ujar Kapolres.
Kegiatan Binroh ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan keyakinan masing-masing personel. Bagi personel beragama Islam, kegiatan dilaksanakan di Masjid Al-Amin Polres Jayapura dengan agenda tausiah dan doa bersama. Bagi personel beragama Kristen dan Katolik, ibadah dan pembinaan rohani dilaksanakan di Kapel Polres Jayapura.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, personel mendapatkan pembinaan rohani yang menekankan pentingnya kesabaran, ketulusan, dan tanggung jawab dalam mengemban amanah sebagai anggota kepolisian. Selain itu, mereka diajak untuk selalu berpegang teguh pada nilai-nilai keimanan dalam setiap tugas dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
Kapolres Jayapura menegaskan bahwa Binroh bertujuan untuk meningkatkan disiplin, moralitas, serta solidaritas antaranggota kepolisian. “Dengan hati yang tenang dan spiritual yang kuat, anggota akan mampu menjalankan tugas dengan lebih profesional dan penuh tanggung jawab,” pungkasnya. **
